Hello, I'm Jo!
Joanne Teo, Speech Therapist

Joanne completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the University of Queensland in 2014. She has predominantly worked in paediatrics across private practices, organisations and the Department of Education. She also has had set up a speech pathology department previously, and enjoys mentoring graduate therapists and therapy assistants. More recently, Joanne completed her Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis with the University of Western Australia in 2021.

Jo's Story
Joanne enjoys working with within the early intervention model, providing support to clients from 0-5 years of age. She also enjoys working with school-aged children and teenagers to support the transfer of their skills from therapy to the real world. Joanne also has a special interest in Autism and is qualified to provide Autism diagnostic services across the lifespan.
When we asked Jo why she enjoys her role she said, 'It brings me joy to see families reconnecting with each other through communication, understanding each other despite the differences'.
