
Hello, I'm Kayla!
Kayla Bron, Occupational Therapist

Kayla has completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) Occupational Therapy degree from Curtin University. While completing her studies, Kayla worked with children as a support worker and as an occupational therapy assistant at a paediatric private practice for 3 years. She has also done additional training in Sensory Integration Therapy along with extra training in Autism and PDA.
As a student Kayla had valuable placement experience in working with children with a wide range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, ASD, ADHD and Down Syndrome.
As a therapy assistant she gained experience in tutoring primary school-aged children, focusing on personalised goals including literacy, mathematics, handwriting skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and reading and comprehension.

Kayla is passionate about working with children and their families using a collaborative and strengths-based approach to optimise their therapy goals in her Occupational Therapy role at Skillbuilders!

Kayla's Story
Kayla is the eldest child of 7 so has lots of experience in managing young people! She is committed to working with families in supporting children and young people to develop confidence and skills to enhance their wellbeing and to thrive in their education and communities. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys being active in nature and developing her passion for art.

​When we asked Kayla what drove her to be an OT she said, "I enjoy working in a profession where I feel I can have a meaningful impact on families and children’s wellbeing and quality of life".
