Emily Trewavas
Occupational Therapist
Emily completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2003 at La Trobe University in Victoria. She started her career at Glenallen School, a specialist school for children with physical disabilities and/or health impairments, and has been working in paediatrics ever since.

Natalie Lea
Occupational Therapist
Natalie completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2010 at Edith Cowan University. Since graduation Natalie has worked in both the public and private sectors providing occupational therapy services to children and their families.

Glenda Raptis
Occupational Therapist
Glenda completed a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2004 at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. She then provided services at a community Women's and Children’s Hospital in Johannesburg before moving to Virginia, USA, where she provided clinic and school-based OT services in a private practice through to 2011.

Shalom Ruggiero
Occupational Therapist
Shalom became inspired by occupational therapy when a family member accessed OT support during his early schooling years and saw dramatic positive change as a result. She completed her Bachelor of Science Occupational Therapy Honours at Curtin University in 2021.

Sindhu VS
Speech Pathologist
Sindhu recently completed her Master of Speech Pathology degree at Curtin University, Western Australia. During her university placements, Sindhu worked with children and adults who required therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, dysphagia and multimodal communication.

Michelle Groenewald
Occupational Therapist
Michelle completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University), South Africa in 2011. Initially Michelle worked in an acute government hospital rotating through Paediatrics, Surgical, Medical and Orthopaedics wards.

Amy Bower
Physiotherapist
Amy completed her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) at Curtin University in 2014. In 2019 she added a Graduate Certificate in Neurological Rehabilitation to her qualifications. Amy has extensive experience in working with children and adults with the full range of neurological as well as musculoskeletal concerns.

Alex Enright
Speech Pathologist
Alex completed her degree in Speech Pathology (BSc Human Communication Science) in 2004 at Curtin University. Since graduation Alex has gained extensive experience in working with children with developmental delays and disorders.

Bryan Tan
Occupational Therapist
Bryan completed his Master of Occupational Therapy Practice at Monash University, Melbourne, in 2022. Since graduating, he has been working within the NDIS community setting, providing occupational therapy services to participants of all ages. Bryan is dedicated to enhancing the independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities through personalised care and tailored intervention plans.

Charlotte Morais
Speech Pathologist
Charlotte completed her degree in Speech Pathology in 2022 at Curtin University and has experience working across the lifespan. Charlotte has experience in diagnostic and therapy services in the areas of articulation, receptive and expressive language skills, AAC communication, literacy, and fluency.

Joanne Teo
Speech Therapist
Joanne completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the University of Queensland in 2014. She has predominantly worked in paediatrics across private practices, organisations and the Department of Education. She also has had set up a speech pathology department previously, and enjoys mentoring graduate therapists and therapy assistants. More recently, Joanne completed her Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis with the University of Western Australia in 2021.

Joanna Taylor
Occupational Therapist
Jo completed her BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy from Cardiff University, Wales, in 2010. She has extensive experience of working in paediatrics across roles in both public services and more recently private organisations. In these, Jo has collaborated with interdisciplinary community teams, council services and the UK National Health Service (NHS), carrying out OT functional assessments and working closely with families in the modification of the home environment. Since moving to Western Australia, Jo has continued to work across private and NDIS sectors to develop meaningful therapy plans and support clients to accomplish their occupational goals.

Kayla Bron
Occupational Therapist
Kayla has completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) Occupational Therapy degree from Curtin University. While completing her studies, Kayla worked with children as a support worker and as an occupational therapy assistant at a paediatric private practice for 3 years. As a student Kayla had valuable placement experience in working with children with a wide range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, ASD, ADHD and Down Syndrome. As a therapy assistant she gained experience in tutoring primary school-aged children, focusing on personalised goals including literacy, mathematics, handwriting skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and reading and comprehension. ​ Kayla is passionate about working with children and their families using a collaborative and strengths-based approach to optimise their therapy goals in her Occupational Therapy role at Skillbuilders! ​

Harippriya Sarendran
Speech Therapist
Hari graduated with Honours in a Masters of Speech Pathologist from Curtin University. Since then she has gained valuable experience working at the Ability Centre with children and young adults with a range of developmental concerns. Here she specialised in speech, language, literacy, social skills, voice disorders, mealtimes and AAC. Prior to this she has worked in a private Speech Therapy practice where she was focusing primarily on school-age children's speech, language, narrative development, and literacy skills. ​ Hari also holds a Bachelor of Science with Major in Applied Mathematics and Minor in Sociology! Smart cookie! During her university years she developed skills in working with children as a speech therapy assistant, a relief teaching assistant, and as a maths tutor. ​ Hari has been a mentor at Curtin University, supporting students with Austism. She's also completed internships in Singapore as a teaching assistant in educational support, as well as with a migrant support programme. ​ Ongoing education is important to Hari - she has completed and range of additional qualifications including: Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk, Sounds Write, Key Word Signing ​ Hari is also bilingual – speaking English and Tamil. ​
