Hello, I'm Denise!
Denise Lai, Physiotherapist
Denise graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2019. She began her career in Hong Kong’s public health sector, gaining comprehensive experience working with both adult and paediatric clients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Committed to bringing meaningful changes to people’s lives, Denise has continually advanced her expertise. Her passion for paediatric care led her to complete an Advanced Paediatrics Physiotherapy course at Monash University as well as to volunteer at a private paediatric clinic to enhance her hands-on skills. Denise has completed extensive postgraduate training which has also included completion of her Master’s in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Curtin University in 2023.
Denise has a wealth of experience providing assessments and delivering supports to children and families that lead to positive outcomes. In addition to her paediatric experience, Denise has worked in a dynamic, fast-paced, multidisciplinary hospital environment has sharpened her skills essential for delivering effective, holistic care.
Denise's Story
Denise has a strong passion for working with children and teenagers. Denise recently relocated to Perth—driven by her love for the city, physio, and kids. She is excited to partner with families and journey alongside them every step of the way.
When we asked Denise why she enjoys her role as a Physiotherapist she said she finds deep fulfillment in helping children and teens overcome challenges, empowering them to achieve greater independence and confidence. She takes pride in witnessing her clients grow, develop new skills, and thrive in their everyday lives.
