NDIS - National Disability Insurance Scheme

Skillbuilders is a registered provider for the NDIS. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS supports people with a disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community and employment. This includes funding equipment and resources that are considered to be reasonable and necessary to help the participant achieve his/her goals. NDIS means that funding is available for all children (not just 0-7 year olds as has been the case in the past) and eligibility is determined by the functional implications of disability, rather than by diagnosis.
Skillbuilders Therapy Services currently provides OT, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy via NDIS. Children can receive individual and/or group therapy services at home, school, day care or at our centres. In order for children to access our therapy services using this funding, we need to provide you with a quote detailing the recommended services and costs for your child. You can phone us anytime to discuss this.
